ANNOUNCEMENTS
- We thank the Zone members for organizing the liturgy of the masses and also the choir members. God bless you.
- Parish Pastoral Council will meet on Monday, 5th January at 7:00 p.m.
- The Sacrament of First Holy Communion in our parish will be on 11th January 2026 at 9:30 am. Let us pray for our 27 children and their families.
- Novenas in preparation for the feast of our Patron – Holy Family, begin from 16th January 2026. The blessing of the banner(maddi) will take place on Thursday 15th January at 5:30 p.m. followed by mass. From 16th January, novenas begin at 6.00 pm. with the recitation of the Rosary followed by mass and salve, every day. Morning mass on weekdays and Sunday will continue as usual but on Sunday, Novena mass will be in the evening.
- Our Parish feast of the Holy Family is on 25th January, 2026. As was done in the previous years, we shall be having special collection for 2 consecutive weekends beginning next weekend 10th/11th & 17th/18th in order to defray the cost incurred for the novenas and feast. Parishioners desiring to offer Novena mass intentions are welcome to do so at the earliest in the church office.
- Children wishing to sing as Angels during the novenas should give their names latest by 10th January in the church office. Practices will start from 13th January.
- Our Parish will organize fete on Vesper’s Day i.e. on 24/01/26 after the evening mass. The Parish Day will be celebrated on the day of our parish feast, Sunday 25th January, 2026. Band will be in attendance “Crimson Tide”. Besides snacks and food counters, there will be other entertainment. Tickets for the event will be priced at Rs.600/- for adults and Rs.300/- for children below 12 years. Tickets will also be shortly available with PPC representatives and in the Church Office. Kindly buy the tickets and patronize the event.
- St. Joseph Vaz novenas, at Sancoale begin on 7th January 2026. Our Mapusa Deanery pilgrimage mass is on 10th January at 4:00 p.m. Those interested to go for the novena mass are kindly requested to register at the church office latest by 6th January. Bus will leave the church premises at 2:30 p.m.
- On 9th January, 2026, our church office will remain closed.
