The Holy Cross Chapel, Alto Betim, was blessed on September 14, 2002, by His Excellency Most Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrao (then Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman.)
Masses are held on weekdays at 7. 00 am. and on Sunday at 7.30 am. The Pilar Fathers celebrate the daily Mass. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm on the 1st Thursday of every month.
The Feast of the Holy Cross is celebrated every year on 14th September.
